During our Entrepreneur Town Hall Meetings held throughout the state in the first half of 2012, we heard first-hand from our entrepreneur peers that you need a group to help “Break through.” This is a key focus area for Startup Maryland. In addition to serving as connective-tissue we pledge to help where/when we are able to “block and tackle” to help move your team forward in meaningful ways.
Let’s face it, all startups want exposure for their products & services, and they need to build a strong network. Plus, all founders and early-stage management teams can use practice pitching their business opportunity.
That’s where startup celebrations like Pitch Across Maryland come in.
The Startup Maryland team has worked tirelessly with key startup champions to create unique opportunities for Startup Maryland members to broaden their reach. Call it a “Bigger Mega-phone” or whatever you like, just know that since launching in early 2012 Startup Maryland has been focused on helping entrepreneurs as peers.
